Los Angeles County mobile voting

Los Angeles County is bringing voting services directly into communities through its Mobile Vote Center Program, giving eligible voters additional opportunities to cast their ballots ahead of the November 3, 2026, general election.

The program, launched in 2020, partners with community organizations to bring official voting services to public events and neighborhood gathering places. Mobile voting units can help residents who face transportation challenges or have difficulty accessing traditional voting locations.

A mobile voting event in Little Tokyo

Another example of the county’s mobile voting initiative is a partnership with the Center for Asian Americans United for Self Empowerment, known as CAUSE. The organization announced an official Mobile Vote Center at the Haunted Little Tokyo Block Party on October 31, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The event illustrates how mobile voting can bring election services into community gatherings, making participation more accessible to residents.

Hommies Unidos plans a November 2 event

Hommies Unidos has announced a mobile voting opportunity for November 2. The organization’s event could provide another way for community members to access voting services, but its exact address, operating hours, and official election status should be confirmed before publication.

A key distinction is that not every community voting event is an official election Vote Center. Readers should verify whether the Hommies Unidos location will accept ballots for the November 3 general election or provide voter education and registration assistance.

The general election takes place Tuesday, November 3, when regular Vote Centers are scheduled to operate from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voters can use the county’s official resources to confirm their options and make a plan to participate.
