A brutal collision between two helicopters in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning left six dead: among the fatalities was the Argentinian YouTuber Gaspi.
According to confirmation obtained by Infobae from Brazilian authorities, the deceased included Argentinian influencer Gaspar Prim Díaz and a music video producer identified as Lucas Vignale. Also among the victims was the American singer Oliver Tree.
The 23-year-old YouTuber, originally from Buenos Aires, had more than 2.8 million followers on his Instagram account and was known for his controversial videos. He had been successful on the platform since he was 17, and his posts garnered thousands of views on YouTube, often featuring his characteristic greeting: “Buenas” (Good).
In 2022 he was recognized as “Youtuber of the Year” at the Coscu Army Awards, the awards ceremony created by streamer Martín Pérez Disalvo to recognize young content creators.
