Amid the shock of the tragic deaths of Gaspi and producer Lucas Vignale, Iván Liska, director and co-founder of Blender, was one of the first to pay tribute to them. In an interview with Teleshow, he described Gaspi as “the most brilliant, passionate, and work-obsessed person I’ve ever met in my entire career.” He added something that went beyond the professional realm: “As a human being, he was even better than everything he did,” he emphasized.
Liska also recalled how the collaboration between Blender and the two young men began. It was in conversations with the influencer and Vignale that the idea for Gaspi Visits Your Home, the four-episode miniseries they had just released, emerged. He described how the two were pursuing a purely artistic quest, and “they had the courage to do something different from what they had accustomed us to.” “An artistic quest in this era… practically an act of rebellion,” she emphasized.
Liska announced that this Monday the streaming channel will be dedicated to honoring them, while the two remaining episodes of Gaspi Visits Your Home are awaiting release, and she concluded with a phrase that summarized what many of those who knew them repeated throughout the day: “Young, brave, and incredibly talented people. The loss is enormous.”
