The Secretariat of the Navy dismantled a narco-camp belonging to organized crime groups in the vicinity of the village of Casas Grandes, within the municipality of Elota. At the site, personnel from the Fourth Naval Region located and seized tactical vests, ballistic plates, magazines, ammunition cartridges, a grenade warhead, a homemade hand grenade, and a homemade drone-mounted grenade.

The discovery was made during aerial and ground patrols conducted by naval personnel in the area, as part of ongoing surveillance and patrol operations in municipalities known to have an organized crime presence. The Fourth Naval Region coordinated the operation that led to the identification of—and access to—the camp, which reportedly served as a staging point for tactical gear and weaponry used by members of the criminal group.

In separate operations, personnel from the same institution located two pickup trucks during patrols conducted in the vicinity of the municipality of El Rosario. A search of the vehicles led to the discovery of three bags containing dried vegetation with characteristics consistent with marijuana, two tactical uniforms, ammunition cartridges, a radio charger, and tire spikes.
