A major operation spanning three states—led by the Special Forces of the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA) against the Gulf Cartel—resulted in the arrest of Jesús Manuel “N,” alias “Bebo,” an alleged financial operator for the “Los Metros” faction.
The Security Cabinet reported that the operation involved executing 19 search warrants at properties located in the states of Chihuahua, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas, where Jesús Manuel “N” and two other individuals were arrested.
The deployment was carried out based on military intelligence and involved personnel from the Defense Secretariat, the National Guard (GN), and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR).
According to authorities, “Bebo” is linked to a network smuggling foreign hydrocarbons; he is also the subject of an arrest warrant for organized crime charges related to operations involving illicitly obtained funds.
Defense investigations indicate that Jesús Manuel “N” operates under the direct command of César Morfín Morfín, alias “Primito,” who is identified as the leader of the “Los Metros” faction—a group active in the states of Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.
