Universidad La Salle, an educational institution with campuses across Mexico City, has appealed via social media for assistance in locating Danna Karla Trujillo Ríos, a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since October 9 from the Carola neighborhood in the Álvaro Obregón borough.

The request was posted using the hashtag #ComunidadLasallista, though the institution did not specify whether the teenager is a student there. Universidad La Salle offers three levels of education in Mexico: high school (*preparatoria*), undergraduate studies (*licenciatura*), and master’s programs. Danna Karla’s age would align with the typical age range for starting undergraduate studies.

The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJCDMX) activated the corresponding Amber Alert one day after the disappearance, following the receipt of a formal report from the family on October 10. The case was registered under file number 20261010-004 and Alert number 1098/2026.
According to the official missing person notice, Danna Karla was last seen on October 9 at 8:30 a.m. in the Carola neighborhood of Álvaro Obregón. Her whereabouts have been unknown since that time, according to the document issued by the city’s prosecutor’s office.

The minor was born on November 9, 2010, and stands 1.57 meters tall. The notice describes her as having a slender build, fair complexion, straight light-brown hair, and medium-sized dark brown eyes. On the day she disappeared, she was wearing blue jeans.
