The United States Embassy reported this Tuesday that the US government maintains a reward of 10 million dollars for Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, identified as the leader of the “Los Chapitos” faction within the Sinaloa Cartel, by disseminating a message issued by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE) in which his status as a fugitive was reiterated.

In its message, the diplomatic representation highlighted that Guzmán Salazar and his three brothers, known as “Los Chapitos,” inherited drug trafficking networks from their father, Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán Loera, and warned that the accused “must be considered armed and dangerous.”
