Six content creators from Tuxpan, Nayarit, went missing this Wednesday while traveling in a white van toward Mazatlán, Sinaloa, where they planned to film material for their digital platforms.
According to reports, their families lost contact with them around 7:00 a.m., as the group was passing through the El Tablón area in the municipality of Rosario—one of the most volatile areas in the southern part of the state.
The young men are part of a creator collective known as “Bola Costera,” a group with a social media presence that primarily produces music-related content. They departed from Tuxpan around 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10. They had planned to meet another group of creators, “La Gallada de Maza,” in the port city to shoot footage and record content.
Since contact was lost, family and friends have launched a social media search campaign. According to posts by close associates and local media reports, the young men have been identified as Luis Antonio Chávez Jiménez, Brayan Granados, Ramón Medina, Pablo Ángel Durán Rentería, Brandon Zamorano, and Daniel Ramírez Segura. Authorities have not yet issued an official list of the missing persons.
Their mothers, who traveled to Mazatlán on Wednesday night to join the search, described the young men as tradesmen—working in fields like masonry and metalwork—who create content in their spare time. According to the outlet *Debate*, the families plan to visit the Southern Region Prosecutor’s Office this Thursday to request that search efforts be intensified.
Content creator Enrique, identified as a member of “La Gallada de Maza,” posted a video directly addressing whoever might be holding the young men. He noted that the last contact he had with the group was in the area of Aguacaliente de Gárrate, in Concordia, before they reached Mazatlán.
