The Jalisco Attorney General’s Office sought two women in connection with the assault and vehicular striking of a middle school student in Lagos de Moreno. The incident took place on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 16, outside Technical Middle School 127, triggering an investigation to establish criminal liability for the blows and injuries the minor sustained.
SAMU personnel transported the teenager to the IMSS Regional Hospital under “yellow code” status, suffering from various contusions and edema in the mid-section of her femur. The attack occurred around 1:42 p.m. as the student was leaving the school, located in the San Miguel neighborhood.
The events reportedly took place on Friday, June 19, while the journalist was covering a gastronomic event held in the capital of the State of Mexico. In a video shared on her social media, the young woman recounted the moment she was allegedly assaulted.
