The lifeless bodies of Gabriela Arroyo (25), Reyna Isamar Rivera (20), and Alán Loera Pérez (32) were located at different sites within the municipality of Chignahuapan, Puebla, hours after their disappearance was reported early Monday morning.
The Chignahuapan municipal government confirmed the discovery of the three young people, who had gone out together before their families lost contact with them and notified the authorities.
According to police reports, the search operation began after the pickup truck driven by Alán was found abandoned in the community of Villa Cuauhtémoc.
Subsequently, the sequence of discoveries unfolded as follows:
Chignahuapan-Calapa Highway: A motorist alerted authorities to the presence of a woman’s body lying by the side of the road. Upon arrival, emergency services confirmed that the victim showed no signs of life.
Road to San Miguel Lastiri: Hours later, security forces located the remains of the other two missing individuals—a man and a woman—along this stretch of road.
Preliminary reports indicate that all three bodies bore signs of violence. As of now, the Puebla State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has not issued an official report clarifying the causes of death or disclosing the lines of investigation regarding this triple homicide.
