Guillermo Aragón Labrador “El Cholo Flechas,” leader of the Flechas Group, armed wing of the Cabrera faction of La Mayiza, was reportedly arrested in Durango. Elements of the Mexican Army (SEDENA) carried out an operation in the ecotourism area of Mexiquillo, in the municipality of Pueblo Nuevo, Durango, resulting in the arrest of nearly a dozen members of organized crime and the seizure of at least seven high-end vehicles.
Unofficially, it is reported that among those arrested is Guillermo Aragón Labrador, alias “El Cholo Flechas,” identified as the leader of the Flechas Group, the armed wing of the Los Cabrera organization, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel aligned with Ismael Zambada Sicairos, alias “El Mayito Flaco.”
Sources confirmed that a special forces group arrived at the resort in the early morning hours through a tactical raid that evaded the surveillance network (“halcones”) deployed in the region. The operation focused on one of the cabins in the resort, where the criminal group was surprised by the military personnel. Although official commanders have remained tight-lipped about the final tally, photos and videos circulating on digital platforms document the deployment of armored vehicles on the ground and direct air support via drones and a Black Hawk helicopter.
El Cholo Flechas is in charge of directing the military operations and territorial disputes of this criminal group in the Sinaloa and Zacatecas regions. All those arrested, along with the seized vehicles, were placed under federal custody for their immediate transfer and presentation to the appropriate ministerial authorities. The Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) is expected to release a detailed breakdown of the seized weapons and equipment in the coming hours.
