On Wednesday night, the Tamaulipas State Attorney General’s Office arrested Danna Yanina “N,” who is allegedly implicated in the homicide of Dafne Zapata Quintos, the 13-year-old girl who died during a summer camp at the Marina Doenitz Militarized Academy in Ciudad Madero.

According to local media outlets such as *Hoy Tamaulipas*, the 18-year-old is a former student of the academy who was serving as an assistant in the female section at the time of the incident.

On Wednesday, Danna Yanina “N” voluntarily appeared at the offices of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Investigation of Crimes against Children and Adolescents and Gender-Based Crimes against Women to give a formal statement regarding the case.

Once inside, according to *Milenio*, she was served with an arrest warrant previously issued by a control judge. *Posta MX* confirmed that the young woman was arrested by Investigative Police agents in the municipality of Tampico and transported to the Prosecutor’s Office headquarters in Ciudad Madero in an official vehicle.
