A fire broke out Sunday night inside the Muchacho Alegre restaurant, located in the Playa Norte area of the port city of Mazatlán, prompting the immediate evacuation of at least 100 people, including customers and employees.
Videos circulating on social media show the mobilization of Mazatlán Municipal Police, Civil Protection, and Mazatlán Fire Department personnel, who responded to the emergency, which has since been brought under control.
After the fire was seen inside the restaurant, people quickly left the establishment, while emergency responders began working to control the situation.
Unofficially, it has been reported that a man suddenly entered the restaurant and threw an object, which allegedly caused the fire.
