Emali Guadalupe and María Joaquina, the twin daughters of Emma Coronel and Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, turned 15 on August 15, 2026. Although the celebration was held in strict secrecy, various details about the party have come to light in the days since.
According to reports, the twins’ dresses were created by April Black Diamond—the same designer who dressed their mother for Milan Fashion Week.
The dresses, revealed by the designer herself on her Instagram account, were strapless, short, and covered in crystals and beadwork. Each girl wore a unique design; the designer described the event as a celebration of “pure luxury” where “haute couture, dazzling crystal embellishments, and exquisite details create an atmosphere of elegance.”
Images posted by April Black Diamond show the twins posing with the designer in front of a white mosaic wall covered by a floral installation in shades of pink, peach, orange, and white. The teenagers’ faces are covered by pink heart emojis, consistent with the privacy policy their mother has maintained since they were young.
The twin on the left side of the image wore a strapless dress with a bodice embroidered in crystals and silver beadwork. The skirt was voluminous—featuring layers of white tulle in a ballerina style—which contrasted with the structure of the bodice. She completed the look with embellished low-heeled silver shoes and a pearl necklace.
