Inter Miami’s new stadium has yet to officially open its doors, but it already has its first headliner: the Mexican artist Carín León. The regional Mexican music singer has been tapped to inaugurate Lionel Messi’s “home” by performing the venue’s very first concert, scheduled for June 28.
The event is part of León’s 2026 North American tour; earlier this year, he was awarded the Grammy for Best Contemporary Mexican Music Album.

A Debut Driven by Culture and Entertainment

The decision to book Carín León as the first artist to take the stage at the Nu Stadium aligns with the organization’s strategy to position the venue as a premier entertainment landmark in South Florida.

Jeff Henry, Head of Special Events at Heron Sports & Entertainment, emphasized the goal of delivering “the best live entertainment experiences,” supported by an infrastructure designed to accommodate large-scale events.

In a video shared on his Instagram account, Carín León stated: “…Inter Miami now has a new home, and we are thrilled to announce that we will be the very first artist to perform at this magnificent new stadium. See you in June at the Nu Stadium—the new home of Inter Miami.”
