The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) announced that formal proceedings have been initiated against 11 individuals for their alleged involvement in drug possession and firearms violations. Reports indicate that the accused are members of the group known as “Los Rusos.”
The individuals—identified as Jesús “N”, Lorelei “N”, Marcos “N”, Antonia “N”, Arturo “N”, Abad “N”, Javier “N”, Nancy “N”, Benito “N”, Julio “N”, and Liliana “N”—are described as “suspected members of a criminal group.”
The court ordered pretrial detention for the individuals and set a two-month period for further investigation, according to the agency led by Ernestina Godoy.
The subjects were arrested after security agencies identified properties in Acapulco, Guerrero, used by a group of individuals who intimidated tourism service providers and demanded extortion payments in exchange for allowing them to work on the Miguel Alemán beaches.
