The disappearance of Ricardo Cabezas Talavera, a 45-year-old real estate businessman, has mobilized his family, the Jalisco real estate community, and state and federal authorities since July 30, when he left his home in Zapopan for a work appointment in the El Batán neighborhood and never returned.
Four days later, the National Search Commission (CNB) issued a national alert, and his loved ones staged a protest outside Casa Jalisco to demand an intensified search.
As of Tuesday, August 4, there is no further information regarding his whereabouts.
According to Georgina, the victim’s cousin, the businessman had a work appointment and was heading to the El Batán neighborhood in Zapopan, apparently to show a plot of land or a property to clients.
