One person died and two were injured in a new armed attack that took place Friday night in the Valle del Ejido neighborhood of Mazatlán.
This incident follows a series of consecutive violent events recorded earlier that day.
The attack occurred between Isla de la Piedra Alley and Emiliano Zapata Street, next to a Farmacia Guadalajara.
Personnel from the Mexican Army, State Police, and Municipal Police arrived at the scene and secured the area. Traffic on Libramiento 3 Avenue was closed in the northbound-to-southbound direction.
Forensic experts from the State Attorney General’s Office arrived at the scene to collect evidence.
The body of the deceased victim was removed by personnel from the Forensic Medical Service.
