Dalai Lama Denies Link to Jeffrey Epstein After Appearing in Over 100 Records

The Dalai Lama’s office unequivocally denied any connection between the Tibetan spiritual leader and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, after his name was mentioned more than 100 times in recently declassified U.S. court files.

“Some recent media reports and social media posts, in connection with the Epstein files, are attempting to link His Holiness to Jeffrey Epstein. We can unequivocally confirm that His Holiness has never met Epstein nor authorized any meeting or interaction with him by anyone on his behalf,” the official statement said.

The reaction from the office of Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama, comes after the declassification of federal records in the United States, in which the Tibetan leader’s administrative staff are cited more than 150 times, according to the office.

Declassified documents reveal that in 2012, one million dollars was explicitly budgeted to renovate a residence specifically designated to house the Tibetan leader and a 15-person entourage for two weeks.

The files also describe the use of private aircraft belonging to Epstein’s network for His Holiness’s transportation that same year and for events where the magnate claimed to be attending.

An email from October 2012, sent by Epstein himself, reinforces this logistical link: “I told you almost a month ago on the island that the Dalai Lama would be coming and I want to go there to see him,” the magnate wrote to an associate, confirming his personal involvement in the visit.
