For Marcela Luevanos, achieving balance is not an easy task. It becomes a process that must be practiced over and over again to achieve that balance that helps us navigate through life.
Luevanos, owner of Skin by Marcela, fully trusts in the power of meditation, being with oneself, and planning all her activities while practicing mindfulness.
At night, she finds a refuge that allows her to find peace.
“I usually meditate when household and business activities are finished. I have a space where I reflect on what’s happening, what’s going to happen. Usually, I listen to guided meditations for 10 or 15 minutes. This part is very important for me. I find myself in it,” says Marcela.
Another important thing is gratitude, says Marcela Luevanos.
“It’s fundamental. I give thanks for what I have. I give thanks to God. I think it’s important to practice gratitude,” she adds.
Marcela complements this work with some body stretches. She also loves to read and write. For some time now, she has been accustomed to keeping a journal where she writes down everything: thoughts, phrases, things that happen.
“Positive thoughts are a fundamental part. We have to reinforce them every day. That’s contagious,” says Marcela.
TIPS:
Meditate every day, even if it’s just for five minutes.
Practice positive thinking.
Read.
Write, keep a journal.
Practice gratitude in every moment of our life.
Give thanks to God.
