On Sunday night, Adán Rodríguez—a *norteño* singer and former lead vocalist of the group Los Nuevos Rebeldes—was killed while outside his home in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa.
According to reports, the shooting took place around 9:00 p.m. in the garage area of the singer’s residence, located at the intersection of Breñovieja and Ampuero streets in the Stanza Cantabria neighborhood.
Details indicate that a group of armed individuals arrived at the property in a vehicle, shot Adán Rodríguez multiple times—killing him instantly—and then fled the scene.
Emergency and security personnel were alerted via 911; upon arrival, they found the body of the 29-year-old man and proceeded to cordon off the area. Meanwhile, agents from the State Attorney General’s Office carried out the necessary investigative procedures.
The young man was identified by his family members after news of the armed attack against him broke.
