Members of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) missing persons search unit conducted a search operation in the La Misión district, near Santa Anita Hill in Ensenada, this Sunday, June 28.
During the search, at approximately 2:22 p.m., buried skeletal remains bound with adhesive tape were discovered. The remains were found spaced about 20 meters apart.
Preliminary information indicates that the remains belong to two individuals. Competent authorities were notified to process the scene and initiate investigations to determine the victims’ identities.
Ensenada has recorded 56 intentional homicides so far in 2026.
