Paola Márquez’s death continues to send shockwaves through her followers, family, and friends—especially after her father, Hércules Márquez, shared a heartbreaking testimony during *Al Rojo Vivo’s* coverage of her funeral.
The Mexican influencer, a native of San Luis Potosí, was found dead at her home on May 30, 2026. Local authorities reported that paramedics confirmed her passing at the scene and that the case is being investigated as a possible suicide.
The news was confirmed by her father via social media, where he penned a farewell message to his daughter. Hércules Márquez Balderas also shared details regarding the wake and funeral services, which were held in Huichihuayán—a community within the municipality of Huehuetlán, San Luis Potosí.
During *Al Rojo Vivo’s* coverage of the funeral, Hércules Márquez spoke of the deep affection he held for his daughter and the admiration the family felt for her as a content creator: “I was her fan; her mother and I were her fans. Everyone back in San Luis would shout out to her: ‘It’s Paola Márquez—the one from TikTok!’”
However, the most poignant moment came when he revealed that, after spending several years in the world of social media, Paola had confided in him that she no longer wished to continue living that life.
“After two or three years of being in that world, she said to me: ‘Dad, I don’t want to be in this life anymore; I want to leave.’ ‘Where do you want to go, Paola?’ ‘I just don’t want to be in this life anymore; give me permission to go,’” Hércules Márquez recounted during the interview.
