Lucero Alejandra Encino Rodríguez traveled to Zapopan, Jalisco, on October 27th to meet a man she met through a video game. He bought her a plane ticket, and she departed from Mexico City to see him, as he assured her he lived in Texas. That was the last time anyone heard from them before her disappearance.
Lucero’s family reported her disappearance. “Chris,” the man she met, had promised they would go to the United States to get married. She is 18 years old, and the search is underway in Jalisco. According to her mother, who posted her photograph and the missing person bulletin issued by the Jalisco State Commission for the Search of Missing Persons, she was wearing a blouse, a gray sweatshirt, light gray pants, white Adidas sneakers, black glasses, and a light blue backpack.
She has a medical condition that puts her at risk of vulnerability: Mixed Anxiety and Depressive Disorder, as well as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Distinguishing features include a scar on her left ankle, moles on her chest, warts on the back of her neck, braces, and piercings in both ears.
