Reporter Mafer Fabela has publicly accused the Secretary of the Toluca City Council—identified as Justo “N”—of alleged sexual abuse. She claims the public official subjected her to inappropriate touching while she was covering the inauguration of the 2026 Chorizo Fest.
The incident reportedly took place on Friday, June 19, while the journalist was covering the culinary event held in the capital of the State of Mexico. In a video shared on her social media, she recounted the moment the alleged assault occurred.
According to the reporter’s account, she was filming the event and raised her arm to get a better shot with her equipment when the official approached and initiated physical contact without her consent.
“He grabs my hand, pulls my arm, and I say, ‘No, thanks.’ He ignores me and squeezes my wrist harder. He says, ‘What’s the worst thing I could do to you? This,’ and proceeds to touch my body inappropriately and repeatedly. I freeze; I make myself small—‘Why are you doing this?’” the reporter said in the video, which quickly went viral.
