Videos circulating on the X platform show a Colombian man who was abducted by thugs in Villahermosa, Tabasco.
In the first video, one of the thugs—his face covered—is seen wielding a machete and threatening to cut off the head of the Colombian man, who is kneeling, blindfolded, shirtless, and bound with his hands behind his back.
The foreigner begs his “boss” not to let him die, as he still wants to meet his newborn baby.
“Boss! Please help me, I want to meet my daughter, please help me, give me a hand, pay the money they’re asking for, don’t let me die, they’re going to cut off my head, boss, don’t let me die,” the victim is heard saying.
In the other video, he again asks his boss not to let him die, noting that he has done everything asked of him—”don’t let me die, I did all the work just as you asked,” he says, implying the man was likely involved in illicit activities in Mexico. “Don’t let me die; they’ve already started cutting off my fingers,” he concludes while weeping.
The latest report indicates that the ransom was indeed paid, but the thugs have not yet released the foreigner.
