Members of the search collective “La Justicia Es Para Todos” (Justice Is for Everyone), in coordination with “Rastreadores del Silencio” (Trackers of Silence), conducted a search operation in the San Carlos community—located within the Maneadero district of Ensenada—yielding two positive discoveries.

On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 5, mothers and families set out to support one of their fellow members in locating the remaining remains of her son, whose skeletal remains had been found days earlier by another collective.

During the search, they made a positive identification of skeletal remains in the area, bolstering hopes of fully locating the missing individual.

“Because this struggle belongs to each and every one of us; if one of us makes a discovery, we all do,” they stated, reiterating that their work is driven by love and solidarity.

The second discovery occurred unexpectedly. While one of the mothers was observing the work being conducted at the site by the State Attorney General’s Office, she began walking aimlessly through the area—guided, she said, by her intuition.

The woman discovered the body of a man just a few meters away from where remains had previously been found.

The corpse bore signs of violence; the hands were bound, and there was a blow to the head. It was not possible to determine the victim’s age. He was dressed in gray trousers, a black dress shirt, and black Vans-style sneakers with a white stripe.

According to preliminary estimates, the body may have been at the location for approximately 15 days.

The searching mothers emphasized that no one should ever have to face the disappearance of a loved one, nor find them in such conditions, underscoring that their work is not driven by outside interests, but rather by love and the urgent need to bring their loved ones home.
