The investigation into the feminicide of former beauty queen Carolina Flores Gómez saw new developments on April 28, two weeks after the crime took place in Polanco, Mexico City.
On Monday, N+ reported that the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) had requested that Interpol issue a Red Notice against Erika “N,” the primary suspect.
This mechanism serves as an international alert issued to locate and provisionally arrest fugitives wanted for prosecution or to serve a prison sentence.
Alongside these reports, Carlos Jiménez—alias “C4 Jiménez,” a journalist specializing in security matters—reported on X that the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJ CDMX) had identified the taxi driver who transported Erika “N” following the events in Polanco.
His information, corroborated by his connections within the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office, lent further weight to the reports regarding the FGR’s request to the Unit for International Police Affairs and Interpol.
