Man Wanted by the DEA Captured in Quintana Roo

Erik ā€œNā€, wanted by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), was arrested in the state of Quintana Roo for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking.

The DEA wanted him for a criminal record in Texas, United States, related to the arson of a vehicle and a motel room.

The arrest, carried out in Playa del Carmen, also included Edgar Nemesio ā€œNā€, also wanted for alleged drug trafficking offenses.

Both men are also allegedly linked to a report of extortion at a laundromat.

Using technology, fieldwork, and surveillance cameras from the C5 command center, in coordination with elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security, the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), and the Secretariat of National Defense (Defensa), a surveillance operation was deployed in the municipality.
