Dmitry Medvedev, vice president of the Russian Security Council and former president of the country, shared a message on his Telegram account in which he alleges that Ukraine is allegedly involved in recruiting members of Mexican criminal groups for the war.
“The situation has reached the point of incorporating hitmen from Colombian and Mexican cartels, whose names are known worldwide from reports and television series: the Gulf Clan, Sinaloa, Jalisco Nueva Generación, and others. The recruitment of these thugs is handled by a company called Segurcol Ltd., from Medellín,” reads the Russian official’s message.
Medvedev emphasizes that the Ukrainian administration is allegedly recruiting “the most vile scum.” Through his official channel, which has 1.7 million subscribers, the Vice President of the Security Council points out that mercenaries are being taught how to operate drones, an activity that can be very useful for drug trafficking, according to the former president himself.
He also indicates that the hired individuals, both from Mexico and Colombia, are not useful on the battlefield.
“Our soldiers destroy them so quickly that the transporters don’t have time to collect the coffins,” he points out.
