Horacio Pancheri reacted to the case his colleague and compatriot, Ximena Pichel, “Lady Racista,” is facing for alleged acts of discrimination against an officer of the Mexico City Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC).

The Argentine actor expressed regret for what happened and called on Pichel to reflect on her actions.

“What she did is not justifiable; what she did was very wrong. I hope she reflects on what happened because, yes, it happens to all of us. Sometimes you say a bad comment or do something wrong on social media, and they kill you,” he declared in an interview with Chismorreo.

The soap opera heartthrob mentioned that, from his perspective, the best thing would be for “Lady Racista” to apologize and reiterated his love for Mexico.

“Let him apologize or ask for forgiveness if he needs to. I’m not one to tell him that. I love Mexico, I respect Mexico, it’s my home,” he said.

In that same conversation, the actor from “A Road to Destiny” and “A Stroke of Luck” opened up about the taboo that plagues Argentines in Mexico regarding their personalities. Some people describe them as arrogant, haughty, and conceited.

“Yes, we have that taboo that Argentines are arrogant, haughty, and conceited—not all of them, some are, others aren’t. But there are also other foreigners who are the same; they are lovely people, and there are rude people like everyone else,” he commented.

In this way, Pancheri took a stand against pigeonholing Argentines as arrogant.
