The Mexican boxer knows that talking outside the ring is normal for his rivals, and he silences them inside.
The Canelo vs. Scull fight heated up this Thursday at the press conference in Saudi Arabia with Saul Álvarez responding to the Cuban’s intimidating words.
A few days ago at the Grand Arrival at the event venue, the Caribbean fighter made a statement alluding to the Mexican, which received a response that day.
“I’m enjoying something very beautiful and I’m going to show that it’s possible. It means, in the best sense of the word, with all due respect, things are as they are, we came to win by any means necessary, but I’m going to eat it, I’m going to eat Canelo,” Scull said last Tuesday. The Mexican boxer, WBA, WBC, WBO, and The Ring super middleweight champion, with the support of several Mexican fans in attendance, responded to William Scull’s remarks.
“It means a lot to regain the undisputed title. I expect the same (as with Erislandy Lara), but I’m a different Canelo, and (Scull) is going to feel it.
“He said he was going to eat me, but the only thing he’s going to eat is this (shows his fist). A lot of people talked shit before, but I’m a different Canelo. He’s going to feel how different I am,” the Mexican said.
