Nataly Osma Pinilla, a 29-year-old Colombian woman, was found dead on the morning of Thursday, September 17, inside an apartment she had rented via Airbnb in the Cuauhtémoc borough of Mexico City.
The Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJCDMX) has an ongoing investigation to clarify the circumstances of her passing and determine the cause of death. So far, authorities have neither confirmed a homicide nor announced an official cause of death.

According to information released by journalist Carlos Jiménez, Nataly went out with a friend during the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, September 16, amidst Mexico’s Independence Day celebrations.
After the outing, both women returned to the apartment where they were staying. The following morning, Nataly was found dead on a bed in the unit.
Initial reports indicate that the young woman showed no visible injuries. Traces of vomit were also found near her body—a clue that specialists will need to examine, though it is not enough on its own to determine what caused her death.
