Felipe Cabrera Sarabia, known as “El Inge”, left the custody of the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) on September 4, 2026, according to the agency’s official record under file number 55026-424.

Since he did not have US citizenship or residency, he remained in the custody of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service (ICE), which placed him in the Adelanto Processing Center in California.

The Sinaloa Cartel operator, registered as 56 years old by the BOP system, had been sentenced in July 2023 to 19 years in prison for conspiracy to traffic cocaine and heroin into the United States. The ICE file confirmed that he remained in that immigration detention center, located at 10400 Rancho Road, Adelanto, California.

He is expected to be deported to Mexico, where before his extradition he faced an outstanding 24-year sentence.
