A message about the fear of inaction appears as the last visible post on a Threads account attributed to Diego “N”—who has been arrested for his alleged involvement in the mass killing of Jonathan Meléndez (keyboardist for the band Camilo Séptimo) and three members of his household in Atizapán de Zaragoza.

The profile used the name “Sebastián RosMan” and the handle @sebasrosen26. Its bio featured the flags of Argentina and Mexico, a phrase about “dying young,” and a link related to vacation rental properties in Valle de Bravo.

The post was published on July 20, 2026, and read: “People are afraid to take the leap; I’m afraid of being left with the ‘what-ifs’.” The message appeared 43 days before the crime, which took place on September 1 at the Grand Viure residential complex.

At the time of his arrest, the post—tagged with the location “Mexico City”—had garnered eight interactions, two reposts, and at least one reply. As of this writing, the phrase remains visible on Threads.

Jonathan “Honas” Meléndez was murdered inside his apartment along with his wife, Ana Paula (who was four months pregnant), their three-year-old daughter, and Aleyda Romero, a 21-year-old domestic worker. The family pet also died.

A young son of the couple was found alive in another room. The Prosecutor’s Office reported that he showed no visible injuries and was handed over to his grandparents.

According to the official reconstruction, Diego Sebastián “N” entered the residential complex accompanied by Gerardo “N” at 5:23 PM. One minute later, a camera captured him inside the elevator.

Entry was authorized by Ana Paula due to the relationship of trust Rosen shared with Jonathan. The musician’s wife arrived with their children at 5:42 PM.

Jonathan arrived at 7:28 PM, accompanied by a friend. Before going in, he asked her to wait downstairs and call for help if he stopped answering. Diego Sebastián “N” was caught on camera in the parking lot at 7:41 p.m., and the vehicle left two minutes later.
