Three workers from the agricultural company Viva Orgánica, located in the Maneadero district of Ensenada, have been missing since August 20, 2026, and the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has launched an investigation to locate them.
A similar incident occurred on Friday, March 6, 2025, in the Guadalupe Valley, when five ranch workers—originally from Tijuana and Sinaloa—disappeared from a property at the intersection of Tierra Santa and Monte Parnaso streets (on the road to Los Olivares in the El Porvenir *ejido*); their whereabouts remain unknown.
The individuals missing in the Maneadero incident have been identified as Jesús Alexandro Sánchez Gerardo and David Alberto Ortiz Quintal, both from Mexicali, and José Alfredo Morales Martínez, from Playas de Rosarito.
According to available information, on the day they disappeared, a group of armed men traveling in vehicles reportedly entered the worker housing quarters.
The subjects allegedly gained access to the premises after security guards allowed them to enter. Subsequently, the three workers were reportedly beaten and forced to leave the site, being taken away against their will.
Witnesses who requested anonymity indicated suspicions of possible collusion between the housing complex’s security staff, a female company supervisor, and individuals linked to criminal activities in the area.
There has been no information regarding the whereabouts of Sánchez Gerardo, Ortiz Quintal, and Morales Martínez since August 20; consequently, family members and associates are continuing the search and hope that authorities will clarify the events.
