SAR Consulting was founded from a place of lived experience—a journey shaped by the responsibilities of caregiving and the pursuit of equity for underserved communities. At its core, SAR was born out of the need for flexibility, compassion, and systems that respond to real-life challenges, particularly for families navigating complex healthcare and educational landscapes.
Exploring the gaps in medical, dental, and educational systems as a caretaker revealed how often our institutions fall short in truly understanding and responding to diverse needs. That experience inspired me to create solutions that are not only strategic but also deeply rooted in empathy and lived insight.
Not only as a woman but as a mother, I know how easy it can be to lose your light while trying to meet the needs of others. The weight of caregiving, decision-making, and advocacy can feel isolating. But with the right support, encouragement, and tools, it’s possible to lead with clarity and purpose. That support helped me stay grounded and ultimately set the spark that ignited this journey.
