MEJOR AMIGO (which means “best friend” in Spanish) is about appreciating and celebrating our pets and culture. It’s about that immense love we have for our best furriends and cultura. Two things I love so deeply, so I thought… why not combine them? I’m so proud of where I’m from, my people, my ancestors, our traditions, our music, and the countless amount of beautiful things within our cultura. I grew up with my familia always embracing our Mexican culture and our Latinidad. So for me this is a way to honor, appreciate, and pay tribute to my roots while also providing my community with high quality pet products that represent the culture they love for the pets that they love.

  • Jennifer Arias
    A former social media manager and dog mom, Arias’s background in social content and work with the Latino community inspired her to start the brand. She was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and says her unique perspective as a Latina allows her to create art that’s relatable to the Latino community.
  • Charles Murphy

    A business and finance professional, Murphy co-founded the brand with Arias. He used his experience in those industries and the culture he grew up with to bring the brand to life. 

The brand’s name means “best friend” in Spanish, and its products are inspired by the brand’s roots, traditions, and appreciation for culture. Some of the products offered by Mejor Amigo Pet Supply include:
Pet clothes, Harnesses, Collars, Leashes, Toys, and Accessories. 
Arias has said that she grew up with a rich culture and loved animals and dogs, and that she wanted to create products that would appeal to Latinos who love their pets. She has worked with talented Latino designers to create products that reflect her culture, such as a collection with Mexican
