Woman who protected 2-year-old baby from tanker explosion in Iztapalapa hailed as “heroic grandmother”

In statements reported by various local media, Rosa, daughter of Alicia Matías Teodoro, mentioned that her mother is 49 years old and works as a checker at the Santa Marta truck base. She had taken her granddaughter to work that day, so she protected her during the explosion.
