Two weeks after the murder of influencer Valeria Márquez, a new witness has testified to having witnessed the attack. The woman, identified as Paola, gave her testimony in an exclusive interview with journalist Fabián Pasos, known as Mafian, on his YouTube channel.
In her testimony, Paola directly pointed to Érika, an employee of Valeria’s beauty salon, as the person who shot the young woman.
The witness said she was standing in front of the salon checking prices at the entrance when she witnessed the attack. According to her, a delivery man arrived asking for Valeria, who confirmed her identity. While he was looking for a package, Érika, sitting less than a meter and a half away, pulled out a gun and fired three times.
Paola said she heard a fourth shot, but panicked, fleeing the scene with the delivery man. During the interview, the witness sent a message to Erika hours later:
According to information from Proceso, and contrary to the accusations, Erika’s lawyer, Jazmín Escamilla, has stated that her client had no involvement in the crime and that she is also the target of attacks on social media.
