A confrontation between Tamaulipas State Guard forces and an armed group resulted in the deaths of five alleged members of organized crime, including a woman known as “La Chucky,” one of the Gulf Cartel (CDG) hitwomen who liked to flaunt her criminal life on social media.

According to the Diario de Chihuahua, the events occurred on Friday, November 8, during a patrol operation on a dirt road in the municipality of Reynosa, a conflict zone on Mexico’s northern border.

State Guard officers spotted a stolen GMC Sierra pickup truck, whose occupants opened fire. The officers returned fire and pursued the assailants until the vehicle crashed into a light pole, leading to another exchange of gunfire. Five people were killed at the scene, including “La Chucky.”
