On December 24, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) announced the 20-year prison sentence against César Osvaldo Toledo Rodríguez, a man known by the aliases Valdo and/or Baldo, linked to the Sinaloa Cartel.

He was found guilty of organized crime with leadership, administrative, and supervisory roles. Valdo will serve his sentence at Federal Social Reintegration Center No. 11 in Hermosillo, Sonora.

The report from the institution headed by Ernestina Godoy Ramos indicates that he was arrested in April 2023.

“He is accused of being part of a criminal organization, in which he served as a logistics operator for the trafficking of fentanyl from Mexico to the United States,” the agency’s report states.

In addition to his connection to fentanyl trafficking, intelligence reports state that the recently sentenced individual was a man who collaborated with Raúl Alberto Carrasco Lechuga, the latter nicknamed El Chore and who was the plaza boss for Los Chapitos.
