Jorge Armando ‘N,’ alias ‘El Licenciado,’ was arrested after being identified as one of the masterminds behind the murder of Carlos Manzo, Omar García Harfuch announced at a press conference.
The head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) reported that ‘El Licenciado’ coordinated the attack against the mayor.
Thanks to the investigation, it was discovered that the murder was directed through a messaging application.
“‘El Licenciado’ held the command role, issuing the instructions to carry out the execution,” García Harfuch stated.
According to authorities, Ramiro ‘N’ sent a video to the group showing the planter where Carlos Manzo was murdered. In the message, he indicated that he was at the location to find “the client.”
The analysis of the conversations and intelligence work allowed investigators to track ‘El Licenciado,’ who changed SIM cards to evade capture. Authorities also confirmed that Jorge Armando ‘N’ is the leader of a criminal organization linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
