US Ambassador Ronald Johnson congratulated the Mexican government on the arrest of Regulo Gilberto “N,” alias “El Tobilio,” one of the alleged leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel, who is wanted in the United States for trafficking large quantities of fentanyl.
The US official stated that actions like these strengthen shared security and benefit both nations.
“El Tobilio” has been identified as the leader of a fentanyl distribution network for the Sinaloa Cartel. Along with him, Karina Guadalupe “N,” responsible for logistics and precursor acquisition, was also arrested. She is wanted by the US government on an outstanding arrest warrant.
