On Friday afternoon, the San Luis Potosí State Attorney General’s Office released a wanted report in an attempt to locate Paul Jonathan Brown, a US native who has been living in the San Luis Potosí region for several years.
According to the report, the 72-year-old American man was last seen last Sunday, July 20, in Potrero “El Huizachal,” about ten kilometers from the municipal seat of Villa Juárez.
There, the US citizen owns “Ladridos de Esperanza,” a dog shelter.
An employee of Paul Jonathan’s office reportedly alerted municipal authorities about the American’s disappearance on Monday. However, the search by state authorities only began this Friday.
According to initial reports, Paul Jonathan’s employee, who arrived at the farm on Monday to work, found things in disarray inside the house and no trace of his boss.
The State Attorney General’s Office has not released further information on the case to the public.
However, confidential sources consulted this afternoon by MILENIO confirm that the possibility of the American man being deprived of his liberty has not been ruled out.
