Authorities continue their search for Yulixa Consuelo Toloza, the 52-year-old woman who underwent a cosmetic procedure at Beauty Láser, located in the Tunjuelito district of Bogotá, and subsequently disappeared.
The case has shocked the country due to the various pieces of evidence that have emerged regarding what happened at the establishment, where she had undergone laser lipolysis, a procedure that involves eliminating localized fat using a cannula and laser energy.
So far, a vehicle has been found in which the woman was allegedly transported by force in a critical condition. The car, a gray Chevrolet Sonic with license plate UCQ-340, was found in a pasture in the municipality of Los Patios, Norte de Santander.
“They were pulling and pulling; the girl’s feet were lagging behind. Each of them was holding one of her arms, and it looked like she was hugging them. Her feet were lagging behind, and they were pulling her,” said a witness who saw the woman being taken out of the beauty salon.
There are also two videos that show Toloza’s condition after the procedure. In the footage, she appears pale, with a vacant stare, struggling to breathe, and trying to eat some soup they were giving her.
