Two Arrested in Loreto, BCS Massacre

The arrest of two alleged perpetrators in the massacre of two families in the municipality of Loreto on the morning of November 19th was confirmed today.

According to the Baja California Sur State Attorney General’s Office (PGJE), the alleged hitmen were identified as Germán “N,” nicknamed “El Grande,” and Iván “N,” nicknamed “El Tarza.”

Both are charged with participating in the execution of six people in the Invi Miramar neighborhood, where a 10-year-old boy was killed and another person was injured.

“During patrols, agents from the State Criminal Investigation Agency (AEIC) of the Attorney General’s Office spotted a vehicle matching the description of one linked to the homicides that occurred on the morning of Wednesday, November 19, in Loreto. Upon being ordered to stop, the occupants accelerated and got off the road; one of them fired at the official vehicle, and the agents returned fire,” the Attorney General’s Office stated.
