Javier Alonso, Minister of Security of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, confirmed that the three bodies found in a house located between Jáchal and Chañar, in Florencia Varela, correspond to the three girls who disappeared in La Matanza. One of them, Lara Morena Gutiérrez, was interviewed a few weeks ago by a local television station, in which she described her difficult lifestyle.
Lara disappeared along with Brenda del Castillo and Morena Verdi on September 19 when they were meeting with someone, according to Antonio, grandfather of Brenda and Lara, sisters aged 20 and 15. The three young women were last seen on Friday at the La Tablada roundabout, where they were picked up by a white van.
The girls were sex workers, as confirmed by Sabrina, the sisters’ mother. One of them was captured on video as part of a report by a local media outlet in the Flores neighborhood of Buenos Aires, where neighbors reported Lara, her sister, and her friends for engaging in public prostitution.
