Health and justice authorities are investigating the deaths of six people and the adverse effects suffered by three others, allegedly linked to the administration of intravenous solutions at a medical facility within the state.

The State Health Secretariat reported that, to date, nine cases have been identified: six fatalities, one patient hospitalized in critical condition, and two others who have since been discharged.

According to official information, all affected individuals received intravenous solutions that were prescribed, prepared, and administered by the same physician.
The State Attorney General’s Office confirmed the opening of six investigative files stemming from complaints filed, while the seized solutions remain under analysis by federal authorities.

The facility was shut down on April 1st, and no new cases have been reported since that time.

Authorities noted that the investigation remains ongoing and that updates will be provided as conclusive results become available.
