This is what ‘El Mencho’s’ tomb looks like in Zapopan, Jalisco

Four days have passed since the burial of Nemesio Oseguera, ‘El Mencho,’ the former leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, and his tomb still bears enormous floral arrangements, all of them, of course, placed anonymously.

One of the floral arrangements features the image of a rooster, as Oseguera was known as the Lord of the Roosters.

The Recinto de la Paz cemetery, where Oseguera’s remains lie, is ten minutes from the 15th Military Zone in Zapopan.
